Take a trip to Peregian Beach Park with friends and family, and watch regular open-air concerts called Peregian Originals held every second Sunday of the month. You can walk barefoot around this little town which is dotted with trendy and cutting-edge cafes, fashion stores and gift stores.

Head to the Noosa Farmers Market for fresh produce, yummy bread and delicious sweets. Stock up anything that makes you feel healthy like fresh kale, Himalayan salt and fermented things in jars. Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle your way up the stunning Noosa Everglades. Known as the River of Mirrors because of the amazing reflections in the water, the Noosa Everglades, in the upper reaches of the Noosa River, is a 60 km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.

Take a walk at Noosa National Park’s walking tracks or swim in its secluded beaches. The park, with its native bushland wrapped around a scenic headland, can be extremely popular at weekends and school holidays.  Noosa National Park offers spectacular coastal scenery of Noosa Headland, and nearby areas around Lake Weyba, Peregian and Coolum.

Have an amazing view of the sunset at the Laguna Lookout, an elevated point within the Noosa National Park. The trail towards the lookout is also spectacular with the view of the Noosa Bay, Hastings Street and sweeping views that extend out as far as the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance.

 

7.  Eumundi Markets

Perched high in the lofty Sunshine Coast hinterland is the town of Eumundi, famous for its twice-weekly markets. Enjoy locally-made artisan treasures or grab fresh local produce, homebaked and handicraft goods from different stalls and shops.

Relax by the Noosa River by hiring a houseboat and cruising up.  Go on a sunset river cruise. You can also set up a barbecue along the river or camp by the Holiday Park right by the riverfront.

Walk along the Noosa boardwalk and chance upon the "sand castle man" who creates these amazing castles complete with flickering tea lights.
